Welcome to Dietsch – five new apprentices embark on their journey!

Part of the IHK Project: Training opportunities for young talents from Vietnam

Just a few days ago, we had the pleasure of welcoming five new apprentices to the Dietsch family. Four of them have come from Vietnam to start their training as upholsterers and upholstery and decoration sewers. In addition, another apprentice has begun his career path in our administration department – an equally valuable part of our commitment to developing young talent.

Our commitment to integration and supporting the next generation

The Vietnamese apprentices are part of a program by the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (IHK) of South Thuringia, which offers young people from Vietnam the opportunity to build a professional future in Germany. Our long-standing involvement in this initiative was recently highlighted by a visit from the broadcaster MDR Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk.

Personal connections: The first impression at Dietsch

Right from the start, our new colleagues experienced a very special moment: in a relaxed round of introductions, our managing directors Christian Andreas Maurer and Christoph Minow personally welcomed them and gave insight into our company culture.

A role model for creating new perspectives

That successful integration truly works at Dietsch is proven by the story of Anh Hoang Vu. Since beginning his apprenticeship in 2019, he has become an indispensable part of our team. Today, he is responsible for the fabric cutting department – mastering more than 400 types of fabrics as well as all leather materials.

Proud of diversity – a look ahead for our new colleagues

We are proud to support young talents from a wide variety of backgrounds and are excited about the fresh perspectives they bring to our production, sewing, and administration departments. We wish all our new apprentices a fantastic start and a successful training period – both professionally and personally. Welcome to Dietsch! 🌍✨
