Awarding our trainees

International training, successful integration and a strong sign for the skilled professionals of tomorrow.

Today, we at Dietsch Polstermöbel had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation from Vietnam as well as representatives of the IHK Südthüringen to our site in Springstille. The occasion for the visit was the start of the 10th cohort of the Vietnam Project, which supports companies in South Thuringia in recruiting and training young talents from Vietnam.

Our guests included Ms Thi Huong Giang Dinh, Project Manager “Recruitment of skilled workers from Vietnam for German companies in South Thuringia” at the German Competence Academy, Ms Kim Trang Phung, Deputy Director of the German Competence Academy, Ms Ha Anh Duong, Project Assistant at Hanoi IEC Co., Ltd., as well as Ms Antje Hoffmann.

The guests were welcomed by Managing Director Christian Maurer together with Kevin Sittig. Afterwards, the participants first received an insight into our company before Tobias Hoeck accompanied the company tour through our production facilities and introduced our trainees directly at their workplaces.

The focus of the visit was on our Vietnamese trainees Pham Minh Anh, Tran Phu An Nguyen, Quynh Nhu Nguyen and Khan Hung Nguyen. The delegation gained a personal insight into their everyday training routine, their areas of work and their development at Dietsch Polstermöbel.

Another special moment was the presentation of the certificates for successfully passing the German B2 exam to Pham Minh Anh and Nguyen Khan Hung by the IHK.

Our HR department supports the project as the central point of contact for the IHK and maintains close communication with all parties involved.

This trustful cooperation is an important foundation for ensuring that organizational processes run smoothly and that our trainees receive the best possible support.

There are clear reasons why we are implementing this project for the third time: We want to offer young people a professional perspective, attract junior talent to our craft and show that integration can succeed through training, trust and mutual support.

A strong example of this is Anh Hoang Vu. He began his training at Dietsch in 2019. Today, he is a very important part of our fabric cutting department, knows our more than 400 fabrics and all types of leather in detail, and is an indispensable member of our team.

We would like to sincerely thank the delegation from German Competence Academy – Hanoi IEC, IHK Suhl and everyone involved within our company for the open exchange and valuable support of this important project.

For us, this day once again shows: Training means future.
